Proposed Minutes of
Dayton Township Planning Commission
June 20, 2011
Meeting was called to order by Doug Graham at 7:30 PM
Present were Doug Graham, Bob Steele, Chris Yens, Ralph Mock & Nancy Chin.
Minutes from April meeting were read, a motion to approve the minutes was made by Chris Yens, seconded by Ralph Mock, motion carried, minutes were approved.
Zoning Administrator’s Report: Bob Cook stated, permits were issued for 1 dwelling, a pole barn addition and a garage.
Secretary’s Report: No calls or correspondence were received.
Public Comment: No Public Comment.
Old Business:
The wind energy, concerning placement of wind turbines, height, etc., continues to be discussed and is awaiting material from Bob Cook, which will be tabled for the next meeting in August, 2011.
New Business:
Article 23-26 of the Zoning Ordinance Changes:
Section 23.09 -2: Change the wording Zoning Board to Planning Commission.
Compliance for Planning Commission must be registered by July 1, 2011; this issue has been referred to the Township's Lawyer.
Discussion of Medical Marijuana Ordinance- reviewed two different Township's ordinances (Koylton & Fremont), to be discussed further at next meeting in August, 2011.
A motion for adjournment of the meeting was made by Bob Steele, seconded by Ralph Mock, Motion carried; meeting was adjourned by Doug Graham at 8:38 PM.
