Proposed Minutes of
Dayton Township Planning Commission Meeting
October 19, 2009
Meeting was called to order by Doug Graham at 7:30 PM
Present were Doug Graham, Bob Steele, Richard Overton, Ernest Coleman, Chris Yens, Ralph Mock and Nancy Chin.
Minutes from august meeting were read, corrected, and approved through a motion made by Bob Steele, seconded by Chris Yens, motion carried, minutes were approved with corrections.
Zoning Administrator’s Report: Bob Cook reported that only phone calls were received for this period and no permits were issued.
Secretary’s Report: No calls or correspondence was received.
Old Business: Blight ordinance draft was discussed and approved through a motion made by Richard Overton, seconded by Ralph Mock, followed by a roll call vote: Doug Graham-yes, Chris Yens-yes, Richard Overton-yes, Ernest Coleman-yes, Ralph Mock-yes, Bob Steele-yes, and Nancy Chin-yes. Nancy Chin to contact Linda Davis concerning correction needed on Blight Ordinance draft before submission to attorney for further review before sending it to the Regular Township Board for final approval process.
Public Comment- No public comment.
New Business: Doug Graham discussed the annual budget and noted that it needed to be prepared for the December meeting.
Motion made for the adjournment of the meeting by Chris Yens, seconded by Bob Steele. Meeting adjourned at 8:13 Pm by Doug Graham-Chair.
